hi there,

I’m Emily — the one behind the camera reassuring you that you don’t look awkward (it’s true), your kids are so cute and perfect (also true), and candid photos are so much better to look back on than everyone-smile-at-the-camera photos (trust me).

It all started 9 years ago when my sister-in-law had an extra camera laying around. I had just became an aunt to my first niece and nephew, and fell in love with chasing them around with a camera, capturing their childhood through my lens. I’ve always loved flipping through old family albums, reliving all the best memories through photos, especially the less-posed ones — the ones that feel lived in. In 2020, I quit my full time job in marketing and followed my dreams of being a family + wedding photographer. I haven’t looked back since, and somehow it just keeps getting better.

Over the years I have self-taught, taken classes and workshops, and carried my camera everywhere practicing and learning how to capture real, genuine, candid moments.

I love photographing families and weddings - creating timeless and memorable images for you to hold on to forever, share with your loved ones, and file through two decades later reminiscing on the best (or even the most ordinary) of days.

a little bit more about me..

I’ll start by sharing my favorite title: a mom! My husband and I welcomed out first baby in 2024. Motherhood is all I’ve ever wanted in life, so she’s a real dream come true.

I graduated from Le Moyne with a degree in Biology — do I use that degree at all? Not in the slightest, but I did end up meeting my husband in an Anatomy class so, it was worth it.

When I’m not taking photos, you can find me spending time with my family, hanging with the friends I’ve had my whole life or designing my future home.

I love all things Christmas (so much so that our wedding was in December — spoiler, it was 60 degrees and not a snowflake to be found).

This fact used to say “I would give any amount of money to see Taylor Swift in concert again”. Very happy to follow up and say I did spend way too much money going to 2 Eras Tour concerts. No regrets, would do it a million times over.
